These excellent en-suite rooms all have telephone, satellite TV, radio, safe, hair dryer, air-con., heating and mini-bar. The rooms are decorated in soft beige colours, and have large, comfortable beds, writing desk and chair and lovely views of the 9 hectares of surrounding gardens. There is 24-hour room service. There are two restaurants, both located on the ground floor: La vigna, which serves Tuscan international cuisine & [meaning unclear] and the Garden Terrace, serving buffet and an a la carte menu. The Breakfast room offers an excellent buffet, serving hot and cold foods. The room spills out onto a pleasant terrace area where guests can also eat. A very attractive building built in the style of classic Dutch Cape architecture. Painted white and just two storeys tall, the hotel is spread out over many hectares of well-kept land. The large, open plan lobby has high ceilings and separate reception & [meaning unclear] concierge desks. The lobby leads directly into a lounge area with a large fireplace, and is overlooked by a rooftop ceiling, giving the whole room a bright atmosphere. It is located in a nine hectare estate, comprised of beautifully maintained ponds, and vineyards with views of the surrounding Helderberg Mountain and False Bay. An excellent hotel, perfect for guests wishing to have a relaxing and tranquil stay. There is a very good spa with a variety of treatments available to guests.
